Once again, Dot2Dot Festival takes over Bristol on Saturday 28th May and Nottingham on Sunday 29th May with their ‘multi-venue, metropolitan’ festival taking. Headliners such as Squid, Ghetts, and Frankie Stew & Harvey Gunn are sure to rock South West England and the East Midlands over the weekend.

Whatever you’re after, one of the 36 stages across the two cities will have something for you. The festival features artists from the UK underground rap scene with the likes of rising artists Ashbeck & Ayrtn, pioneering female artists like indie, alternative band Prima Queen and heartfelt, introspective singer Etta Marcus, to new-age collaborative groups such as NUKULUK & NiNE-8 Collective.

Dot2Dot have taken their time curating the multi-genre lineup featuring self proclaimed ‘psych-rockers’, Mystic Peach and South Wales-native, The Honest Poet, who is blurring the boundaries between music and spoken word. Also, hot off of their recent drops, grime-influenced rapper BXKS and socially-conscious MC Jeshi will also be making big appearances, giving us a taste of his upcoming London headline show.

The festival also continues their D2D Mixtapes series: an insight into artists on the line-up where they handpick and deconstruct some of their favourite songs. Features so far have included, Odd Morris and Cassia, all of which are available on their website.

All the artists are due to perform in both cities, so make sure you don’t miss out on seeing some of the hottest emerging talents from across the UK’s groundbreaking music scene—that’s your May Bank Holiday plans sorted!
