Strand Magazine is a student-made and student-led bimonthly arts and culture magazine in central London. Paying homage to the original Strand Magazine that was founded in 1891 and discontinued in 1950, it was independently founded by Samuel Antonio Turner in January 2017, establishing itself as one of London's most active student publications.
Since its foundation, Strand has won a variety of national and regional awards recognising its Development, Design and founder's dedication to the publication. This has included 3 nominations and a win in the 2019 national Student Publication Association Awards. Most recently, Strand was awarded the title 'Best publication in London' at the 2019 regional Student Publication Association Awards.
